The Weeks Fly By

Really in to week 2 of February already? Wow, time is flying.

Great week for Offices Up North last week, got excellent publicity with this article in Crain's and also a small note in the Manchester Evening News. It was a great exercise in seeing where we are likely to be able to get press in future.

I do need to step up the business activity now. We had an OK first month and February is on target, but March and particularly April see significant jumps in the amount of business I need to do to meet target and keep the business going.

Thankfully I have the address sorted now at 1 Portland Street with help from eOffice and it's a great base to be able to push out to other areas of the North West. Serviced offices in Manchester are now pretty covered, but I have a long way to go for serviced offices in the outlying areas of Lancashire, Warrington, Cheshire, and Liverpool. I need to make them all a success to generate enough business over the coming years, so here's hoping.

Co-Working Today at eOffice

Offices Up North are 'co-working' today at eOffice in Manchester.

As part of their innovative Business Boost campaign, eOffice have opened up their centres for those wishing to try out their hotdesks in their centres across the UK.

We're impressed with what they have to offer here in Manchester and best of all it is different. Out with the standard fit-out, in with pods, colour, stylish meeting rooms, and shared space.

Clearly it won't be to everyone's tastes, but they do have some individual serviced offices here too.

The open invitation is out again for next Thursday, so if you want to try out co-working or hot-desking for yourself then get signed up - it's free and simple.

It certainly beats the coffee shop because tea and coffee is free here!
